The Best 3-Lug Adapters For mounting your suppressor
You've probably heard of 3-lug (or tri-lug) barrels before and wondered what they were. Quite simply, they're a barrel that has three lugs protruding from it near the muzzle. Originally developed by Heckler and Koch in the 1960s, these lugs are attachment points for suppressors and other muzzle devices and are most commonly found on pistol-caliber firearms.
The biggest benefit of a 3-lug mount is how fast it works. You simply depress the spring, give your suppressor a quarter-turn, and release. Voila - mounted suppressor!
If you want to use the 3-lug system on a barrel that wasn't made in the factory with lugs, don't fret. There are 3-lug adapters that you can use so long as your barrel is threaded. (If your barrel isn't threaded, then you can't attach a suppressor anyway, so start there first!)
Of course, you've also got to have a 3-lug adapter on your suppressor so that it can interface with the lugs on the barrel mount. The 3-lug system has to be there on both the barrel and the suppressor in order for the system to work properly. A lot of suppressors on the market have 3-lug adapters that can be added to them, but it isn't a universal offering for all companies or even all of a company's suppressor offerings. Be sure to check and make sure that the make and model you want to use has an available adapter to avoid any disappointment down the line!

The BANISH Tri-Lug Housing Assembly contains a BANISH 45 Tri-Lug piston cap, Shuttle Adapter, and Spring. This assembly is directly compatible with the BANISH 45 and can be compatible with the BANISH 46 when used along with a BANISH 46 Piston Housing (sold separately).
