Currently, the latest wait times are down to 5 days for an individual and under 11 days for a trust, shorter than they have ever been.
Unfortunately, it was taken out of the bill as part of a procedure. To pass now, the Hearing Protection Act will need to be submitted as a stand-alone bill and go through the entire process. While we hope it does go through at some point, there is no current information on where it stands as it has not been represented as a bill.
