The CGS MOD 9SK is the shorter version of CGS’ MOD 9. It is made using 7075 T6 aluminum for the tube and baffles, and 17-4 stainless-steel, second-generation Orion blast baffles for optimal sound reduction. The baffles and the shroud shield the tube from carbon and debris allowing for easy cleaning. CSG also uses specially cut pistons to limit the first-round pop. The piston also allows for 12 points of adjustment for impact shift. It can handle up to .300BLK.
All of the stainless-steel parts are properly heat treated and coated for strength and durability. The MOD 9’s aluminum parts are Type III Hardcoat anodized for added durability and give a durable, dark matte finish. The MOD 9 comes with a 1/2 x 28 piston. It is easy to disassemble and clean using the included disassembly tool. Like all CSG suppressors, the MOD 9 was designed and manufactured in Artesia, New Mexico.
