Description and Specs
The Gemtech Aurora-II Suppressor is a lightweight and compact wipe suppressor, designed as an update to the Fighter Pilot’s preferred model. It’s one of the smallest and lightest suppressors on the market, weighing just 3.5 oz. Made from Military Grade 70-75T6 aluminum, it features threads on both ends for compatibility with Metric and Standard thread pitches.
The suppressor includes 8 neoprene wipes and 3 petroleum jelly-filled spacer baffles. Due to its light weight, it does not require a Nielsen device when operating on a pistol.
WIPE DISCLAIMER:
The Aurora-II uses wipes, which are considered silencer parts by the ATF. To replace the wipes, the suppressor must be sent to GEMTECH. The repacking and wipe replacement service costs $29.99.
Note: The Aurora-II should not be used with hollow point or expanding ammunition, as this can cause damage to the suppressor and pose safety risks.
All silencers require the purchase of a $200 Federal Tax Stamp.
