Description and Specs
The folks over at Q have fun with the names of their suppressors and the Thunder Chicken is no exception. It is a full-size 7.62 silencer made from 100% titanium. Like other Q suppressors, each baffle is created as a module, and with the Thunder Chicken, each module is laser-welded together for strength and sound reduction, while making it a tubeless suppressor.
The Thunder Chicken design results in a larger can at 8.13 inches long and a 1.75-inch diameter that is extremely quiet. If noise reduction is what you’re after, this is an outstanding choice. It weighs just 14.7 ounces, packing a lot of punch for a compact-yet-big can.
The Chicken uses Q’s Quickie Fast Attach system that allows it to be transferred quickly from gun to gun, making it perfect for shooters who want one can for multiple firearms.
