Best Day at the Range

The Kriss Vector SBR is a sweet firearm. It is compact and a lot of fun to shoot at CanCon. With Kriss’ Super V System, recoil is essentially nonexistent, making it easier to stay on target. I liked that it was topped with an Aimpoint CompM4 red dot sight to really get the most out of the quick-handling and target acquisition. What made it perfect was the BANISH 45 silencer to tame the bark of the SBR Kriss. With the shorter barrel, it was loud, but with the suppressor, it helps a lot and there is less muzzle jump, too. There was a line of folks wanting to run magazines through this setup, and I didn’t want to give it up.

Best Day on the Hunt

I was pretty thrilled to draw a mule deer tag for a unit that I had been scouting for a while. I’m not going to say where it is exactly because I want to draw it again. This hunt was going to be special, and I was very selective of my gear. I had bought a new Savage Impulse in .300 Win. Just as important to me as the optic was the addition of a BANISH 30 Gold silencer from Silencer Central. When the shot came, and my adrenaline was sky high, I appreciated the fact that I could still hear it when my buddy yelled to me that the muley had crashed just a few yards from where he stood. This is my go-to combo for hunting big game.
